The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was one of the best-received PC exclusives of 2011 with an Xbox 360 “enhanced” edition in the works for quite some time now. When asked whether CD Projekt Red had plans for a PlayStation 3 port, they didn’t give a straight yes or no, simply stating that “it would be stupid not to.”

Update: The who reached to Michal Nowakowski of CD Projekt Red, there was no trace of The Witcher 3 at the firm’s conference last night, the VP of Business Development saying

“I can assure you nothing of the sort was announced.”

“The purpose of the conference was to unveil the details of X360 launch of Witcher 2 with the release date of 17th of April 2012, launch on the same day of PC Enhanced Edition, and reveal of some new features for both versions we did not speak about before. That is it.”

After watching the trailer of “The Last of Us”  ,(i believe you must watch it, if you haven’t yet) the trailer seems fascinating, We’re sure Naughty Dog didn’t disappoint us. Just how the trailer is shown, we see the characters of Joel and Ellie as they’re trying to find their way out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, (If you’re wondering what that is, its a Wonderful city.)  But Pittsburgh is just one destination of many as you make your way across the US towards the West Coast.

A man who’s approximately around  30 named Joel and a 14-year-old girl named Ellie. ”We took great efforts in making Ellie capable,” game director Bruce Straley told a small audience. ”She’s with you, she’s a human being, she’s realized in this world. She’s a companion throughout this adventure.”

Straley explains that Joel “was born before the outbreak, before the pandemic” and had “seen society collapse” while Ellie was born after the outbreak. “She’s grown up in this dark, brutal, bleak world.”

As nature seems to be too weird , destructed and end-world cased-  Pittsburgh, Joel and Ellie make their way to a hotel. In the street, Joel comments on a movie poster for “Dawn of the Wolf.”

He says,”I saw this right before the outbreak,” to himself. When Ellie asks him about it, he responds, “It’s a dumb teen movie.” Little Ellie says ”Who dragged you to see it then?” , He replies ”I don’t know,” he says quietly. “Let’s just stay focused.”

It really is hard for anybody to understand a game by a short gameplay-footage , but if Naughty Dog’s goal was to convince the cynical gamers of the world that ‘The Last of Us’ was different from other video games, We believe it can be a successful title of the year. Naughty Dog developer revealed  after the demo. “We showed you two examples here of totally different ways to play and there are thousands of different ways to play those sections.”

The Last of Us is shaping up to be yet another special game from arguably the best first party PlayStation studio. This isn’t your regular monster outbreak game, expect a story being told and feel connected with its characters. After the hugely successful Uncharted series, The Last of Us is already looking set to become another smash hit from Naughty Dog’s stables.

We’ll find out for sure when it releases on May 7 worldwide exclusively  for PlayStation 3. But, things are already looking promising.

There are also multiple rumors regarding Battlefield for future consoles, which aren’t officially announced yet.

At the moment, DICE focus is still very much on the final expansion pack ‘End Game’ DLC’ expansion for Battlefield 3, which will be available in March on all platforms. Once the ‘End Game” DLC is released, right after that EA will immediately switch their attention to Battlefield 4, as EA Games label chief Frank Gibeau has revealed that Battlefield 4 is definitely confirmed for a 2014 release date.

Further, he’s also revealed that further Battlefield 4 information will be announced within 90 days, which means that we’ll hear more on the development of the game around the April or May period. It’s no secret that the Sony PS4 and Xbox 720 consoles are supposedly due out at the end of the year, so it’s safe to say that we’ll all be enjoying Battlefield 4 on a brand new console (or PC) when it arrives next year.

EA has confirmed to take the Medal of Honor series out of rotation altogether. EA COO Peter Moore had this to say:

“The game was solid, but the focus on combat authenticity did not resonate with consumers. Critics were polarized and gave the game scores which were, frankly, lower than it deserved. This one is behind us now. We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation and have a plan to bring year-over-year continuity to our shooter offerings.”

I believe Medal of Honor: Manshooter just wasn’t meant to be.

Since the “Medal Of Honor” [series] is done, EA has only the ‘Battlefield’ series to turn to for the yearly iterations it demands. There were also rumors saying “Battlefield: Bad Company 3″  or also called as the ‘ New Bad Company‘ is under development ,but it seems there is nothing officially announced about it yet,and it seems that COD has the two series called ‘Modern Warfare/Black Ops’ , relationally Battlefiled continues with ‘Bad Company/ BF’ Series.

Battlefield 4 is believed to be releasing sometime in mid to late 2013.
