God of War Designer Says Kratos Still Has Life

During an interview with lead designer Mark Simon , he informed CVG there’s still life in Kratos.

In a recent news, Sony Santa Monica has confirmed God of War era on PS3 has end. They are now ready to takes their journey to the PS4.

“I think there’s still life in Kratos. He’s a fun character to design games around and I love playing him.”

David Hayter Thinking of Letting A Certain Individual Take His Role in MGS: Ground Zeroes

David Hayter has reach out to his fans for Metal Gear Solid series. In his latest communication with the gamers on Twitter. Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake was held an improvised poll to ask fans whether it would be alright if he didn’t do the voice of Snake in the next Metal Gear.

According to 303 people who had responded to his survey, 64% of them replied “Sad/Angry”, 12% said “No Big Deal” and 24% stated firmly that they would not buy the game if he did not play the role.

It’s very unclear whether David Hayter questions is targeting his followers. Some speculate reveal he might not be the guy behind Big boss in Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes. At this time the only answer remaining is guess. At this point It would be very unclear if Konami would choose to cast a different actor. Unless hype invited for the next Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

There is a big possibility that either Konami or Kojima have made some decision about not letting Hayter involve in the development of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Hayter and Kojima are most-likely trying to build up some fans interest in the upcoming MGS: Ground Zeroes.

New Project Is Being Work On By Ubisoft Montpellier For The PS3

ZombiU and Rayman, the developer of Ubisoft Montpellier is working on a new project for the PS3 console.

Gregory Riachi, one of the staff members has lists an unannounced project on his LinkeIn profile. Riachi is lending his talents “on a full physics related project”. This project is targeting the PS3. The production for this project began last year on Novemeber.

Could this mean they are they working on new IP?

Sony On PS4 Developer Support

The PS4 has taken pleasure of strong press coverage, and a developer acclaimed buzz in the gaming industry. Sony has also announced the launch titles and the long list of developer support that they acquired for the PS4.

The industry has changed in many ways in the past few years. Ever since the PlayStation exclusive franchises have gone multi-platform and the increase in development, the cost is not helping as it should.

The PlayStation 3 got multiple inferior versions of multi-platform titles. For example, Bayonetta, but Sony has done what they can, churning out exclusives and also taking the risks with new IP’s from their first party studios.

Fergal Gara, was asked if exclusive games or optimized multiplatform games will be the way to go for the PS4, he replied: ” I think content will always matter. It’s one of the reasons why it’s essential to have first-party studios.”

Free Games In North America On PlayStation Plus March 2013

Battlefield 4 Running On PlayStation 4

On a report today, Blake Jorgensen the Electronic Arts’ chief financial officer Stated that “the new Battlefield” is running on Sony’s upcoming console, the PlayStation 4.

EA has yet to officially announce Battlefield 4 for the PlayStation 4, though, we know it’s coming.

EA clarified just because the company wasn’t present during Sony’s PlayStation 4 press conference, that doesn’t mean the company wont start support the PS4 until 2014 or 2015. Jorgensen stated , “I’d say between now and E3, you’re going to see a lot of stuff from us.”

Jorgensen said the PlayStation 4′s horsepower allows EA to “do a substantial amount of things that we’ve never done before. In addition, “ I’ve seen the new Battlefield and it is stunning, I mean it is just amazing; what the imagination of the game developers are allowed to do with that much power,”

AMD Will Offer A Cut Down Of APU Chip For PS4

On a report today, Chip Designer AMD will give out a down version of the APU chip that will be implanted on Sony’s PlayStation 4 later this year.

During Sony’s Press Conference last week, they announced AMD’s accelerated processing unit (APU) was a major boost for them. AMD Jaguar based APU will apparently be in sony next gen console, the PS4 . Unlike a separate version of the same APU will be available to consumers without Sony’s technology

Taylor had spoken with The INQUIRER and said AMD branded the APU chip and will not possess the same number of cores and computing capability.

He made a statement saying, “Everything that Sony has shared in that single chip is AMD [intellectual property], but we have not built an APU quite like that for anyone else in the market. It is by far the most powerful APU we have built to date, it leverages [intellectual property] that you will find in our A-series APUs later this year, our new generation of APUs but none that will quite be to that level of sheer number of cores, sheer number of teraflops.”
