Kiefer Sutherland may have spilled the beans on an upcoming Mortal Kombat title. During an interview with IGN the actor was in to talk about his time playing Big Boss in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. However headlines quickly changed when a yet unannounced title was made mentioned by the actor. Within the interview, Kiefer may have slipped up and made mention of his work on a Mortal Kombat game.
“I did Mortal Kombat, and that’s such a huge game, but it’s so not like [MGS5].”
Out of nowhere we get news that a new Mortal Kombat title is in development though what Kiefer’s role is within the game is unknown. We’re not sure as to what this game has in store but at the very least we’re intrigued to learn more. Warner Brothers and NetherRealms has yet to make any statements on the recent comment made by Kiefer Sutherland.
