Overall the PS3 is a more powerful system, but if we’re just talking about GPUs here the 360′s GPU is more powerful. Not much more powerful, but it’s definitely more powerful.

What’s truly important is that they’re using a toned-down 7970m GPU in the PS4(on par with a 7870) while the next Xbox is apparently using a GPU on par with a 7770. The PS4′s GPU should be twice as powerful, and its RAM is MUCH faster, but I think the next Xbox should be a little cheaper- maybe $50. I’m definitely getting the PS4, myself, Microsoft proved during the 360 era that they don’t care about core gamers and are greedy bastards; Xbox Live is ad-supported and they punish their players who don’t pay a monthly fee by not letting them play their games online? And they act as if paying the fee gives rewards, and doesn’t just keep them from punishing the player? It’s sick. I liked the original Xbox, but the 360 showed their true colors(a shade of poo) and I guarantee the 720 will be garbage unless there’s a major corporate shakeup in Microsoft.
