You Sony haters are lost, because actually certain PS3s DO have backwards compatibility. Such as the 60 gig ps3 and the first 80 gig ps3s that came out. My ps3 plays BOTH ps1 and ps2 games. Ps4 will most likely have similar ways.

think the ps3 haven’t arrived to her completely ”potencial” and this is true, because every time we see a new game is better than the others and this explain somethings about the date of ps4 release i think (and hope) the ps4 don’t be released for 2015 or 2016 (in my opinion)

The ps1 games were ported onto the ps3, they were remade to work around the hardware, just because the graphics havent gone up doesnt change that. A ps2 is quite a bit more powerful then a ps1 and the ps3 cant emulate it anyway.

Games for the ps4 wont get any expensive just like any new title for any system, the max is 60$, If you want the ps4 to be backward compatible with the ps3 you and sony will pay a huge price for it.

No, The reason the ps3 can’t play ps2 games is because its expensive for sony and for us, Having a new system that also will be able to emulate the ps3 requires a hell of a lot of money, Just because it is more powerful doesn’t mean it will just work, The games were made for the ps3 hardware they dont work like pc games. If you want to play a ps3 game wait for some ports to the ps4 or just keep the ps3, its not that hard.
