• The Last of Us Theme: Just in time for the launch of The Last of Us Remastered on PS4, the new patch will add a custom theme from the critically acclaimed action-adventure game, so you can spice up your captured gameplay moments with SHAREfactory. The new TLOUR theme includes 39 new stickers, six new transitions, two new background images plus new intro, outro and title clips
• Import Screenshots into Projects: You’ll be able to import screenshots from your capture gallery to the SHAREfactory videos you create. This is a feature that many of you have requested, and we are really excited to bring this to SHAREfactory to make it easier for you to create your memorable moments. Keep those requests coming!
• Additional Updates: With this patch, you’ll also notice some newly added filter effects and stickers, as well as UI improvements. We are always trying to give you the players more fun tools to make your video projects that much better!

The latest update for the PlayStation 4 is 1.75 and it adds a number of new features. For starters, the 3D Blu-ray support is now available. Additionally the update improves the sound quality of 1.5x playback on Blu-ray discs and DVDs.

Another feature added to the PlayStation 4 1.75 update is the ability for gamers to have content download off the PlayStation Store automatically when the console is powered on or in standby mode.

Pricing on the PlayStation Now service was the biggest key point within the press release. While Sony didn’t come right out and say how much the service will run gamers, they did give an idea of rentals could fall between $2.99 to $19.99.

No specifics were released on the rental duration but publishers and developers will have the ultimate say. A subscription fee is also in the works but for now, gamers can expect an open beta on the service for PS4 starting July 31, 2014 with the beta hitting PS Vita, PS3 and Sony TVs shortly after.

From the trailer (which you can view here) we are introduced to the villain of Far Cry 4. Pagan Min doesn’t take your life or wish to keep you hostage like most typical first-person shooters. Instead, Pagan Min notices you, realizes who you are and thoroughly enjoys to see you. Our protagonist, Ajay, might not remember but somehow, Pagan Min knows exactly who you are.

From Ubisoft we learn that Pagan Min wasn’t born into a terrorist group or certainly not into royalty. Over years time, Pagan worked his way into the king position of Kyrat and thus rules with his army.

Beyond his bleached out hair and love of fashion, Pagan Min is still unpredictable but gives off the impression that you just may stick around long enough in his presence to make it out alive.

Mirrors Edge 2 has been rebuilt. This time around we’re going to get more story and background information. Players will learn about Faith and why she took the role as a runner. Though the same feel from the first game is present in the sequel.

Developers brought back the best parkour runners around the world and thus perfected Faith’s established move set while adding onto different new abilities for players to learn. You’ll be moving quickly though the game though the game will allow everyone to maneuver around at their own skill level. New players can take a longer safe route while those with a bit more experience can find the quickest way to complete the level.

Combat has been developed around Faith. EA described Faith as a moving projectile. She is quick, strong and when she hits she keep’s on going.

No specific release date was announced yet though the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and MAC.

Sony Online Entertainment has revealed an upcoming MMO video game known as H1Z1 not too long ago. H1Z1 is based in a zombie apocalyptic setting in the United States. Players will have to force to scavenge for supplies, build shelters and craft weapons in-order to survive zombies and other players.

Today Sony has released brand new screenshots for H1Z1 and has revealed that even in the dark, players are not safe.  The zombies within H1Z1 will still sense players even if they are hiding within the dark. Truly no where is safe for long within the zombie apocalypse in H1Z1.

H1Z1 is set to release sometime this year on the PlayStation 4 and PC. For now check out the latest screenshots below.

Ubisoft must have accidentally released a pre-order page ahead of schedule giving a new image of Far Cry 4 along with a brief story detail. However, Ubisoft has since removed the pre-order page for Far Cry 4 but luckily someone managed to snap a picture and released it online.

According to the Ubisoft page, this is the story details for Far Cry 4.

“In Far Cry 4, Players find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles, and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape.

The free Limited Edition upgrade includes Hurk’s Redemption, a series of three action packed single-player missions. You’ll embark on an epic quest to find a rare artifact while using “The Impaler” harpoon gun.”

Ubisoft will likely reveal more details on Far Cry 4 during their press conference at E3 which is scheduled to take play on Monday June 9, 2014 at 3 p.m. Pacific. We’ll of course have the latest details right here on PlayStation Gang.

1.70 will bring in a number of updates and features. For starters, the preload function will be a game changer for digital downloads. No longer will you be forced to wait for your favorite game to be available and then have to wait for the download to end. Instead, the game can be preloaded and installed on your PS4 before release is available. However, you won’t be able to load the game and play it until after the release date. Nevertheless, a countdown is present to keep track of when the game goes live.

SHAREfactory is now allowing you to make basic small edits to your recorded gameplay. From right on the PlayStation 4, gamers can added text or commentary with ease. Though recording gameplay will also be available to those who have an HDMI capture card like the Elgato. No longer are you forced to abide by the HDCP as the update will allow users to disable the feature and use whatever capture method desired.
