• Watch Dogs: The versus mode in the companion app, Watch Dogs – ctOS Mobile, will be available for fans to enjoy. In Watch Dogs, players will be immersed in a living, breathing and fully connected recreation of Chicago. The message was pretty much expected, considering that the next-gen console is going to be released in a couple months.

“With the buzz around PlayStation 4 building, 2013 continues to be one of the most exciting years ever for video games fans. A host of next generation titles were unveiled at the PlayStation Meeting 2013 and E3 2013. At gamescom in August 2013 the focus will be on PS4 and its games line-up once again.”

We also hope to see Sony support the PS3 and Vita by announcing more news at next-months gaming event.

The event is pretty much Europe’s own version of E3, and it is going to take place on Tuesday August 20th in Saatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne, Germany.

Doors will open 6pm CET, conference will begin at 7pm CET / 6pm BST

In the previous Gamescom, Sony has announced PS3 price cuts and new Vita titles. This year we expect them to give us more details on the upcoming PS4 and maybe reveal more games as well.

Rumors have been speculating that Microsoft may hold a conference of their own, but it has not been confirmed yet.

The cheering in the audience is not coming from the press…

It’s unprofessional to applaud during a professional event.

Also, everyone had laptops or other things in their hands, which caused them to not be able to clap.

Microsoft wanted their reveal of the Xbox One to seem awesome, but it ended up being a show of mostly football and hardly any game reveals.

Sorry, Microsoft, but even the applauding didn’t help the event today.

It’s happening. And we’re going to cover it live for you. Watch the PlayStation2013 meeting right here and get all the important news which comes out from it rounded up for you below.
