In this feature today, we have compiled a list of the most badass characters that have ever graced the GTA series. Let’s have a look.

Tommy Vercetti is the main protagonist and playable character in GTA Vice City. The character of Tommy is portrayed as a tall, handsome 6′ 3.5″ guy with combed dark hair. When he first appears in the game, Tommy is shown wearing a  light blue-green Hawaiian shirt with dark blue palm trees printed on it, a Gold necklace around his neck, a gold watch around his left wrist, and a pair of blue jeans and white sneakers.

Tommy Vercetti is portrayed as temperamental and intelligent, who is violent and easily angered. He does not have a softer side which comes to fore in his dealings with the other notable characters in the game, Mercedes Cortez and Earnest Kelly.

Tommy is one of the most popular and loved GTA characters that has ever graced the series. He achieved a massive fan following because of his badass attitude and was liked by each and all. Badass to the brink, this one.

Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson is the main playable protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. He is the leader of the Grove Street Families of Los Santos. Of all the characters of GTA, few can compare to the badass that CJ is.

In the game, CJ is portrayed as a much rational and less violent character than the previous protagonists of the GTA series. Example may be taken here of the genuine remorse CJ feels when killing his fellow Grove Street members. CJ’s appearance is highly customizable as the game progresses.

The attitude and appearance of CJ was highly instrumental in attaining the mass fan following that the character of CJ enjoyed. He had the in-built quality to come on the top of any situation that was given to him by his adversaries. Arguably, the most badass player ever.

Nico Bellic is one of the most interesting and complex characters ever in the GTA series. When the game released, IGN was ready to label Niko as one of the greatest video game characters ever to grace the console world.

The game is all about the character of Niko seeking a better life for himself while coming to terms with his inner demons. Nico is portrayed as a very down-to-earth business person, very protective of his family and friends. Appearance wise, Nico appears to be a very decent person with sophisticated manners.

Niko Bellic attained mass appeal because of the refreshing characteristics that were brought upon by the deviations from the previous characters in the series. One awesomely badass character in the series.

Though GTA V is yet to arrive, we cannot resist the temptation to put the protagonists under the scanner and compare them from whatever we know about them, with their predecessors. Lets have a look at the (surely) badass characters of GTA V.

Michael is in his early 40′s and is a father of two with a wife named Amanda. He met Trevor Philips at a young age and became partners in crime and great friends. In the game Michael makes a return to the life of crime after many years of retirement.

The background story that surrounds Franklin is that he never had a good family background or any significant money in the family to speak of. He opted for a life of crime and met Michael and did a job together. He saw the spark in Michael and took him under his wing and later introduced him to Trevor Philips.

Trevor Philips is a filthy individual by appearance. He has a military background and previously served as a jaeger pilot and then turned to a life of crime, becoming best friends with Michael in the process.

All the three main protagonists have been attributed with a unique special ability. Michael can slow down time in a gunfight; Franklin can slow down time while driving. Trevor’s special ability is to deal extra damage, or take less damage; he can also perform a unique melee attack when the special meter is activated.

The three new characters in or favorite game series show every characteristic that impacts how badass the particular character is considered. We just have to wait a few more weeks to know the rest.

They haven’t necessarily given every single detail of the game, but they have been cooperative in releasing minor information about the upcoming title.

The game will launch September 19th 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Next-gen versions of the title has not been confirmed yet.

Here’s a list of new information which has been recently revealed about the Game. It contains 12 points in total. You can check the list below -

•  The special abilities of each character can be activated with the L3.
•  Franklin starts at the bottom on the ladder of crime, restoring cars for Armenian ‘crappy’ named Simeon Yetaria.
•  ATMs can be used to check the balance of the protagonists.
• You can pick up hitchhikers on the streets and then leave them in their ideal destination.
• Playing as Michael – The ATMs can be stolen with a minigame, if we want.
• Internet cafes have been removed. Now you can navigate (even in social networks from the game) and watch videos on the mobile phone of our character.
• You will be able to drill a gas tank, drive the car into a group of enemies, then run and catch the trail to blow the car into the air.
• Hundreds of accessories available to customize your pet.
• Your dog can die or lose. You can buy a new pet in a pet stores spread over Los Santos.
• You can hunt the animals and sell the meat obtained factories or farms. (Which are bought by Burger Shot)
• You can leave your car parked on the street, but if you put the ticket, the crane can take him. But you can recover in the warehouse prior municipal payment if you want to lose after having invested your money in editing.
• There are underwater exploration missions. They are considered by Rockstar as a game “apart”.

The company is planning to release their Grand Theft Auto 5 Game this September.

We have noticed that the company has posted a new job opening for an ‘Environment Artist’  where the employee will utilize their skills to create a next-gen open world game.

The post states that the candidate will be “designing, building and texturing the world, have the technical knowledge to achieve great looking results and the skill to get the most from next-gen consoles.”

No further information was inquired, so we are unsure if the game that they are developing is the next Grand Theft Auto or if it is going to be a completely new game. Grand Theft Auto 5 is being released for only PS3 and Xbox 360, so there may be a good chance that they will develop something new for the next-gen consoles.

What do you fans think it could be?

Creutz make a statement  : “In and of itself, the delay of the game from FQ1 to FQ2 would not normally mean any significant change to expected FY14 financial results.

“However there is an issue in that we expect the next generation of Xbox and/or PlayStation consoles to launch in the December quarter. We think the closer proximity of GTA V to the next cycle could, at the margin, impact lifetime sales of the title, though we believe that a title of GTA’s stature will still be a major seller regardless”

“We think there also could be some impact on the legs of likely GTA V downloadable content as the next-gen installed base increases through 2014. However, we suspect Take-Two may have plans to eventually publish GTA V on the next set of consoles in some form to offset this.”

Whilst Creutz  suggested there’s a possibility  GTA 5 delays could  hit next-gen consoles despite the fact Sony teased  The future of Playstation, which   held the   PS4 release date.

The development team comprises of around 250 people who’s worked more than five years on the game.

He also estimated the game’s sales to generate operating profits anywhere between 193.6 million to 390.8 million. The game should sell an estimated 15 to 25 million copies according to him.

Bhatia ended his analysis by claiming that the new GTA might even outsell this year’s annual Call of Duty release.
