When you start the Grand Theft Auto 5 game, you will not have three of the main Characters: Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Turns out the user will have to “explore the world of each of them” in order to access all of the characters.

President of Rockstar North Leslie Benzies informs the website jeauxactu.com that it would “hurt the gameplay and story” if all three of the individuals were available at the beginning of the game.

Benzies states, “Much of the game relies on the three characters and the way in which the lifestyle and actions of one affect the other two. We think of the three characters from the start but we thought that it would hurt the gameplay and the story.

“We want to give the player the opportunity to know the three characters individually and explore the world of each of them, and it would not have been possible if the three had been available from the start.”

It is obvious that Grand Theft Auto 5 requires the user to know the back story of each character before they are available to embody.

How do you feel about Rockstar’s decision?

The President of Sony Computer Entertainment Shuhei Yoshida has been very informative on his twitter account, answering fan questions left and right ever since the PS4 was announced. E3 has cleared many questions but has sparked the little things that people are dying to know.

Read the Twitter Q&A below.

@strickers66 asks, “one thing that concerns me about PS4. Current PSN store’s really bad. It runs slowly, is buggy and just doesn’t work well. PS4 better?

He responds, “Absolutely.”

@russellpsv asks, “will downloadable ps4 games from ps plus / psn be playable on ps vita remote play or just disk games.”

He responds, “both digital and disk games will work on Remote Play”

@RealMilos asks, “hey shuhei, when my account transfers to the PS4, does the money in my psn wallet transfer there too?”

He responds, “when you use the same PSN account, your wallet is available for both”

@Raoul24 asks, “Can people still play Drive Club PSN+ edition when there subscription is expired (if automatic renewal is not enabled)?”

He responds, “no, sorry.”

To sum it all up the PS4 store will be better than the PS3 store, any game whether it be disc or digital will work on the PS Vita Remote Play. Money from the PS3 account will transfer/be available to the PS4 so the psn wallet will be the same for the account regardless of the console. When PS Plus membership expires, the games that came with it also come to an end.

Tell us what you think about all this new information, in the comments below.

The President/CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Jack Tretton was in a recent interview with CNN Money where he explained how almost a decade of researching consumer’s wants and needs helped them gain positive feedback on their PS4 from E3.

Tretton states, “We spent a lot of time talking to consumers. We also spent a lot of time talking with the development community, asking what they wanted.

“The E3 press conference in the spring and the rollout was a culmination of that vision. The reaction is a testament that we got the strategy right. It’s a long, ongoing process. You’ve got to execute against a strategy. If you start second-guessing and looking over your shoulder, you open yourself up to mistakes. If you did your homework the consumer is going to respond.”

The president also mentioned that the PS4 $399 price was set many months before the E3 event, they set that price because they knew what the consumer expected. At that time, they were not sure if the price of the PS4 would be “more aggressive or less aggressive than competitors.”

Turns out Sony played their cards right with the price tag that is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One. Since E3, Microsoft has been changing policies/restrictions left and right, while Sony is sticking to what they started with.

What do you fans think about Sony’s consumer strategy?

President of Sony Computer Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshida has been very cooperative in answering questions from the many fans of twitter. He has answered questions in the past about the PS Vita Remote Play, Slimy PS3 controllers, and many more.

A recent question that was asked is if users can turn off the Light Bar that is located on front of the PS4 Controller. The President replied with a simple, “no”

This light bar takes up a good portion of the controller so many have come into conclusion that it will be a battery sucker. We do find it strange that the light can’t turn off. The light being on or off will be based on the games that are being played, just like in the upcoming Killzone: Shadow Fall it will show the players health. Maybe later on down the road; Sony will consider consumer ideas and let the players choose when they want the light on/off.

Another question that was asked is why the USB port is located in the front of the controller (right under the light bar) instead of the back. Shuhei explains their decision for the front by replying, “You need to be able to reach them easily to recharge [DualShock 4].”

How do you react to knowing that the light bar is always on and the USB port will be in the front?

President of Sony Computer Entertainment Shuhei Yoshida has been answering questions on his twitter regarding to his favorite genre of games, if the PS4 stand will be included with every purchase, and even will Dualshock 4 controllers “still get that layer of slime like the PS3′s did when you didn’t use them for a while?”

Turns out Yoshida’s favorite type of genre is action-adventure, the PS4 stand will be sold separately, and as for the slime Yoshida says, “The material is different from DS3′s, so hopefully not.”

There have been questions about whether the PS4 would need a power brick to support it ever since IGN released a video of them getting hands on with the console. Yoshida has confirmed that the PS4 will not have a power brick by saying, “The power is inside, so no brick outside.”

When asked to give an approximate size of the PS4, the president compares it to the previous consoles by stating, “It’s very close to the 2nd gen PS3, and PS4 is slimmer.”

There will be a headphone jack on the Dualshock 4 controller, where the headphone part will work for any headphones but the difference “depends” on the mic.

Screenshots of the twitter response:

President of Bungie, Harold Ryan recently had an interview with NowGamer, where they discussed about the upcoming title Destiny and the next-gen consoles.

It seems that the game is definitely going to be different in a way, and the upcoming consoles are the reason why all these new games coming out will be revolutionary. Even though the experience of this game will be the same for all the platforms, will the graphics make it feel different?

He states, “We’re not committing right now to any specific platform features. The great thing for us with timing is that we were making a new engine, and then two new consoles were coming out, which led us to invest more into making the new engine for it.

“There are a whole bunch of great opportunities for us to go after, like full player experiences, etc. We’re investigating all of those and building the core experience of Destiny, which will be similar across all the platforms.

“The graphics are different, obviously, platform to platform, but in a connected world, the game of Destiny is going to be awesome on all of them.”

New engines, greater opportunities, and the experience overall will be something we look forward to when we get our hands on this title.
