NVIDIA announces PhysX and APEX to support the PS4

Today, Nvidia announced the company plans to support the PlayStation 4 with the new PhysX and APEX SDKs for developers kits. The company noted  PhysX and APEX provide “collision detection, environment, simulation of rigid bodies, clothing, fluids, particle systems,delivering more real life-like destruction and more.”

A statements from Mike Skolones, product manager for PhysX:

“Great physics technology is essential for delivering a better gaming experience and multiplatform support is critical for developers. With PhysX and APEX support for PlayStation 4, customers can look forward to better games.”

    1. FAIL! PS4 has AMD Radeon GPU and AMD CPU in a single chip, it’s only that the Physx engine will support PS4 OS and Hardware, that is the AMD Jaguar Series chip ;) AMD and nVidia are pretty much the same except AMD is cheaper ;)
