On a tech site who claims to have an inside source in japan revealed the new info about PS4 including the codenamed and more.
- Codenamed “Thebes” (not “Orbis”, as originally thought”
- AMD CPU/GPU
- Said to be a 28nm part, made at Global Foundries or IBM
- Most likely releasing Spring or Autumn 2014
However the PS4 could be released in the spring of 2014, or during the fall in the same year.
