Top 13 Watch Dogs Easter Eggs

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs was one of the most anticipated video games for this current generation of video game consoles. Now that the game is out, gamers are starting to locate easter eggs the developers hidden throughout the city of Chicago. Check out the top 12 easter eggs of Watch Dogs.
Breaking Bad’s Water White
Water White from the hit AMC show Breaking Bad can be found within the game. Well, it may not be directly Walter White but it’s certainly a nod to the character. For starters, one of the classic Walter White lines “I am the one who knocks” has its own spoof located on a street sign.
If you locate Galtero Blanco you’ll find that he is a laundry manager who is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Sound familiar?
Raving Rabbids
Ubisoft placed a few of their own video game icon. One of which is those Raving Rabbids. You can spot them Around the city and within different missions just keep your eyes peeled.
Celebrity NPCs
You might recognize Ashia Tyler she’s done several voice over roles in video games. One of her latest is in Watch Dogs. Also, Ashia hosted the Ubisoft press conference for E3 2013 and 2014. Her NPC along with pro stock car driver Brad Keselowski can be found wandering the streets of Chicago.
Far Cry Blood Dragon Arcade Machine
Take a look at Black Viceroys’ arcade and you might find Far Cry’s Blood Dragon. Unfortunately, you can’t play the game.
Slender man
Slender Man maybe haunting and chancing you in his own video game but in Watch Dogs he likes his distance. Throughout the map gamers can spot images of Slender Man buy when approached too closely he will fade away.
Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump is a timeless movie masterpiece and apparently NPCs within Watch Dogs believe so as well. Occasionally when you run past NPCs you can overhear them shout the classic line “Run Forrest Run!”
007 Golden Gun
Another movie reference in Watch Dogs is 007′s Golden Gun. Gamers can find a D50 and through the use of the Uplay application, gamers can add a special golden tint to the gun. This powerful beast is practically a one shot kill.
Horsey Ride
Throughout the city there are kiddy rides like the horsey. However if you’re looking for a real thrill then stop by T-Bones yard where a tricked out horsey ride is one for the adults and certainly not child friendly.
QR Codes
While its not technically a easter egg, 16 QR Codes are located in the game. If you can track down all 16 you’ll crack an investigation case and earn a trophy.
Road Signs
Road signs are a hackers best friend for messing with pedestrians. You’ll notice all kinds of different road signs of past hilarious Memes you can try to track them all but hey ain’t nobody got time for that.
Rapping Fish
Those singing fish people use to place in their houses for some odd reason is back. Normally the fish would sing some child friendly senior citizen loving tune but hack one of these baby’s and you got yourself a gangsta fish. Listen to this fish lay down some mad sick lyrics about being a fish in Chicago yo.
Child of Light
When you’re at Aiden’s sisters house you can spot Jackson playing a game on his tablet. Look close enough and you’ll find that he is playing Ubisoft’s RPG Child of Light.
Assassin’s Creed
Man are there a ton of Assassin’s Creed references and characters in this game so we’ll compile the ones we found so far.
- Several former Abstergo employees can be found within the city
- Edward Kenway (located in one of the Privacy Invasion spots)
- A kid references Assassin’s Creed to father while playing the game (located in an invasion mission)
- Olivier Garneau (Located in a Convoy mission)
