Grand Theft Auto 5: The Independence Day Special

Rockstar is celebrating America’s birthday in GTA 5 with free DLC. The DLC is known as The Independence Day Special which of course includes several add-on’s all themed for July 4th, United States day of independence.

Included in The Independence Day Special DLC:

Soverign motorbike
Liberator monster truck
US Flag themed apparel
Musket rifle
Firework rocket launcher
New House Locations

The DLC is free right now on Grand Theft Auto 5 and will be up for download through the month of July.

Real-Life Grand Theft Auto V Trailer Remake

Rockstar blew people away with their latest GTA video game in the series known as Grand Theft Auto V. The game literally made a billion dollars within the first week of launch making the game a Guinness world record for being the biggest media launch in history. One fan of the video game made a complete remake of the announcement trailer but this time instead of CGI it was done in live-action.

The trailer shows off a comparison of the live-action footage and footage from the announcement trailer Rockstar released. Now while it mostly contains live-action there are a few scenes in which CGI was needed. You can check out the trailer down below.

Recently, Rockstar has also announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can see the PlayStation 4 trailer here.

Mod For GTA V Shows First-Person Capabilities

Are you interested in seeing what Grand Theft Auto 5 would look like if Rockstar made the game in first-person perspective? One modder created a script that will do just that and while it’s not perfect, the mod does bring in a whole new view of Los Santos.

The mod has a few glitches but for the most part it works. You can finally travel the mean streets of Los Santos in first-person mode. Within the two videos, you can see Franklin roam the sidewalks, run and engage in combat. While the other video shows off Franklin using the various vehicles available within the GTA V.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Coming To PS4

During Sony’s E3 press conference Andrew House revealed the highly popular Rockstar video game title, Grand Theft Auto 5, will be coming to the PlayStation 4 this fall.

Further details were released that gamers can transfer over their game data to the PlayStation 4 console. We will update you with the latest right here on PlayStation Gang.

Grand Theft Auto V Coming June 2014 Announced By German Retailer

Rockstar’s latest GTA title will be coming to the current generation consoles along with the PC this June 2014. The news was broke from a German retailer.

Rockstar hasn’t announced any information on when Grand Theft Auto V will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC so we’re unsure if this retailer is a reliable source. Though we can expect that GTA 5 will be coming to the current generation consoles after the much success it had on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. After all, it broke several world records and has sold over 30 million units worldwide.

For now, we will have to keep this as a rumor. If Rockstar does plan on releasing Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this June, we’ll likely hear something from them in the very near future.

GTA 5 iFruit Application Now Available For PS Vita

What was only available for iOS and Android, the companion application for Rockstars Grand Theft Auto 5 is now available for the PS Vita. That’s right you can now take all the joy from iFruit and access it right on your PlayStation Vita. The application itself, can be downloaded from the Sony Entertainment Network Store.

If you’re unfamiliar with iFruit, the application plays nicely with the latest Rockstar title, Grand Theft Auto 5. Though, the app does offer the ability to get the latest news from Rockstar. Essentially, iFruit is a way to access your GTA 5 account and customize different features and accessories wherever you may be.

For example, on the iFruit application you can customize a vehicle just as you would in-game. Upon starting up the game either on singleplayer mode or online, the vehicle will be readily available within your garage. Other features includes training Franklin’s dog, Chop. If you’re looking to have the most experience possible out of GTA 5 then iFruit is a must.

Rumored Leak Details Revealed For Grand Theft Auto 5 Patch 1.11

A plethora of new items, cars, gestures and more will be coming out for the Grand Theft Auto 5 patch 1.11. This is of course from a supposed leaked document revealing some of the updates within the upcoming patch. Nevertheless, we’ll share the details as to what you may be able to expect when the patch goes live.

The leaked information happens to come from a Reddit post so take this however you will. According to the post, there will be several new additions added to Grand Theft Auto 5 both for online play and offline.

Multiple Apartments/Garages

It looks like players won’t be subjected to having just one apartment and garage when online. A leaked image shows off that the GPS will locate different areas that you have purchased an apartment at.

Grand Theft Auto Receiving The Business Update

Rockstar is gearing up yet another free new update for their hit title Grand Theft Auto V. This time around, the update will receive even more fun content which includes weapons and vehicles. Let’s take a look in a little more in detail as to the different new additions coming in for the upcoming update entitled as The Business Update.

Vehicles

The update will bring in new sports cars featuring the Albany Alpha, Dinka Jester and the Grotti Turismo R. Furthermore, a brand new airplane will be available called the Vestra.

Weapons

There will be two brand new weapons known as the Heavy Pistol and the Special Carbine.

Clothing

A slew of new attire will be at your disposal such as suit jackets, slacks, glasses hills and even blouses. Alongside with the business attire, new hairstyles, tattoos and masks will be available.

As mentioned, this is a completely free update that will be available on March 4th for both the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. You can also expect the update for both Grand Theft Auto Online and the main campaign.
