The Last of Us Remastered offers a wide range of improvements most notable would be the 1080p with 60fps resolution. While the game does include all the DLC previously released for the PlayStation 3 console, it will also come with a download size that might not be too pleasing for some.

Retail versions of the game will require gamers to install the game which comes out to about 50GB that’s not including the day 1 patch. However, digital downloads only rank in about 40Gb. If you’re looking to save some space, it might just be worth downloading the digital version.

Drakengard 3 is available right now for the PlayStation 3 and here’s the latest launch trailer from Square Enix. Developed by Access Games, Drakengard 3 is exclusive for the PlayStation 3 and will be set as a prequel to the original Drakengard video game.

Focusing on a woman named Zero, a mysterious character who kills her sisters that were in charge of the regions around the world. As players progress through the story, they’ll understand the real reason behind Zero’s murders.

Soul Sacrifice Delta is available now and is a sequel to the original Soul Sacrifice. The game includes new bosses, a third faction, co-op and more. Much similar to the original plot to Soul Sacrifice, players take control of a slave to a powerful sorcerer.

The sorcerer must absorb human sacrifices to remain immortal. Our protagonist is set to be next person in line for sacrifice but before summoned a talking magical book presents itself. Within the book, the players can jump into ancient tales and learn just how to battle and defeat mythical creatures and monsters.

With the information and skills learned, the protagonist may just have a fighting chance in saving his life and destroying the cruel sorcerer.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a prologue title for Kojima’s next release Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, expected release is set for sometime next year. Because the game is a prologue and will be short, Kojima is only marking Ground Zeroes for just $30 on both physical and digital platforms.

MCV UK Editor Christopher Dring was the one who did the studies and cited “retail sources” to go along with his reports. He explains that sales of the PS4 has went up 74% just last week.

The jump in sales could be from Sony increasing supply to the stores, which was limited before. The people who weren’t able to get a PS4 when it launched, most likely got one when stocks returned. Dring tweets:

Xbox One sales jumped 96% last week. But according to my retail source, PS4 sales also rose by 72.4%. That’ll be because some stock came in.

The source isn’t completely certified and has been labeled a rumor, but it is something that makes sense, where several retailers were able to gain supply of the PS4 last week, thus increasing sales. Even British Amazon has the PS4 currently available.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world RPG game that was first announced at the beginning of last year and was supposed to release in 2014.

Plans changed and the developers apologized in advance for the slight delay of their game, and has confirmed the real launch date.

Ever since we started working on the third installment in The Witcher franchise, it has been our aim to produce a title that would take our 11 years of experience in creating RPGS and distill them into a quintessence, into a game that would effectively crown those years. At the same time, we have wanted The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to expand creative boundaries, set new benchmarks, develop the genre as a whole. Ultimately, you, the players, must get an unforgettable adventure to experience in a vast, open world – and that’s most important. We’ve created a story that flows naturally, cinematically, rendered it in amazing sound and visuals, while preserving full freedom of choice – all for you. We knew this to be an ambitious plan, but believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities. A project this vast and complex would inevitably require special care in its final stages, manual fine-tuning of many details, thorough testing time and again.

 

We recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game’s final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us. Consequently, we have set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015.

 

Dear gamers – we know many of you would have liked to play The Witcher 3 sooner, as soon as possible, even. We’re sorry to make you wait longer than you, or we, initially assumed you would. At the same time, we believe the game will prove to be worth the wait and meet the expectations you have of us.
