    1. don’t know if you noticed but the old xbox 360 din’t have built in wifi doesn’t have blueray and 3D wouldn’t work on the xbox 360 all of which the ps3 did right so taking 3 times to make somethings better than leaving so much out of it.

    2. Are you serious? Xbox has two entirely different revisions too, as well as like 4 or so hardware revisions that consumers can’t see on the original shaped console. They needed these because of all the problems with xbox, like oh say red ring of death. Or melting disks. Which PS3 has never had. The revisions of PS3 have very little to do with function, they are for the most part cosmetic and I would assume reduce manufacturing costs.I have an original 60gb system from the launch era, and it works perfectly with the latest games. Only problem I have ever had is I wore out a controller from using it too much. Show me a launch xbox and I’ll be impressed, most people I know who own an xbox have gone though 3 to 5 of them. It seems to me that the number of PS3′s in use actually passed the number of xboxes in use a long time ago, the vast majority of the consoles shipped are still in use and not broken, unlike xbox. I have had one friend who had to replace his PS3, and he’s a lazy rich kid so it was probably something like he broke the power cord and bought a whole new machine. Between my friends on xbox, there are about 30 consoles in use and probably over 100 broken ones.
