Sony Online Entertainment has lately mentioned that they could be bringing one of its free-to-play MMOs (Massively Multiplayer Online) to PS4.

The PS4 will be a “great platform” for its MMO, stated in a recent NowGamer interview by SOE’s executive producer, Larry Liberty.

Liberty says, “I would expect that with all of the amazing features that have been announced for the next PlayStation, that [the PS4] will be a great platform for MMOs.”

With the next-gen consoles coming soon, SOE is going to be increasingly important with its free-to-play MMO developer.

Vice President of Epic Games, Mark Rein informs us that Sony and Microsoft have both been targeting free-to-play as a potential business model to hype up their next-gen consoles.
