Microsoft Exec: “Majority Of UK Consumers Won’t Know” About PS4 Reveal Next Week

Today exec Jon Grimes claimed that the majority of folks in the UK wont even hear about the announcement of the PS4.

“Whatever gets announced on February 20th, the majority of consumers in the UK won’t know. They’ll still want to buy the devices out there, so in terms of noise our job will be to ensure that the consumers that are going into stores, going online, still see and experience Xbox, rather than get lost in the industry chatter. Whatever is announced is important from an industry perspective, but we must remember who is buying right now.”

Microsoft Senior Regional Director Jonathan Grimes might turns out to be right, but that is not really the case. Once Sony announces the PS4, I’m pretty sure everyone  going to hear about it, and they will buy it so on to the cycle. A a fans we must prove this man wrong. Leave a comment down below lets us know whether this man is right or not.

  3. I agree that Sony needs to slow it down. Most people are just now being able to afford the PS3. I think watching the flops and up of Sony will give Microsoft an advantage of watching an learning what works and what doesn’t. Who know maybe they will even make online multiplayer free.

    1. I agree with you on your comment. If sony releases their system as early as november or december it will give microsoft an advantage because microsoft will then learn what works and what doesn’t. If sony waits we will than have an advantage over microsoft because we will know what the customers want then

    2. MS isn’t waiting, they’re already manufacturing the consoles. So you can speculate all you want, but their business plan is already set, it would take a tremendous amount of money to alter it at this point. Both companies will put out fun toys to play with, and just like last time, they will offer something for different types of people. The good part of not being a stupid fanatic is that you can effectively decide what you want to do with your money and what features will suit you best. I unfortunately bought an Xbox 360, I regret doing that because the pay to play model of Xbox Live is something I can’t afford or just don’t need. I would much rather play for free after purchasing an already expensive game. If both companies force you to buy an online pass, I will put my money towards upgrading or building a new PC.

  4. They just don’t know what the are talking about, Com’on nowadays everything is watched through a computer, the best way to make an ad is through social networks, they really don’t understand the consumers.
