Sony Responds To Competition Microsoft Xbox 720
Sony revealed their next-gen console last week during their press conference in New York City. Their unveil has taken the gaming industry’s attention, making them take the league with this successful presentation. Not only that, Microsoft doubt a part of the world will not noticed the existence of the PlayStation 4.
It appears that Sony has the hype in full control. Microsoft was reported to unveil their next-gen Xbox April 26th.
Such things didn’t bother Jack Tretton, Sony chief executive. As he stated below
“We’ve always had different competitors. We were in the space before Microsoft and we may be in the space after Microsoft. We’ve seen competitors come and go,”
“I think we are mindful of what they do and quite frankly we think that anything that adds tension and success in the gaming industry is good for us. So we are aware of the competition but we are kind of marched towards our own strategy. And we are very confident that holiday 2013 is a great time to bring out the PlayStation 4,” he said to Businessweek.
Even if Microsoft unveils their next-gen console, this wouldn’t bother Sony, as they stated they had different competitor, they were there before and they may be there after .

This article is very poorly written! Also I agree, I think a lot of people were let down by the PS3, myself included and so I won’t be buying a PS4. On top of that there event was laughable! I think that alone will just add to the ever growing stigma that playstation has caused themselves.
well ur expectation must have been high for the ps3, think about it from ps2 – ps3 is a big jump , nothing is perfect ps4 will have its flaws but still all comes down to ur opinions.
no problem’s here.. my Dualshock 3 with self rechargeable batteries, works fine, and my ps3 slim is quiet as hell, and i do enjoy the free online playin and all the free games, themes, beta’s, and games dlc’s, that i get each month, i repeat FOR FREE, after i payed 37€ at year, like infamous2, red dead redemption, littlebigplanet2, arkham city, bioshock 2, sleeping dogs, crysis 2, just cause 2, resident evil 5, ratchet and clank all for one, mass effect 3, dead or alive 5.. and list goes on…
PS ask microsoft for this, they will kick ya in your face.

the only reason microsoft sold a few million copies of xbox 360 was that it could be modified and old dvd discs could be copied easily where as blueray is still a slap on pirates face, iam living in a third world country every one who has a console in here has an xbox 360 guess why? because they are modified and you can have a collection of games (pirated) so yes it did gave microsoft a little edge in all of those countries like here for eg. pakistan, india, china, bangladesh, these are one of the most populated poor countries and 95 percent of the gamers are pirate, now when the era of dvd gaming has come to an end so the microsofts also, sorry for my poor english and thanks a lot for your time.
