This is one for fans of comic books. Coming on the PS4 in 2014 DC Universe Online is a free-to-play MMORPG wherein players can assume the role of either a hero or a villain. You are free to explore Gotham and Metropolis, completing various tasks in the process as an avatar you can customize into any symbol you want. The major chunk of the game is free with investment needed if you want to access more higher level stuff.
The game received a highly positive response on the PS3. Rest assured, a PS4 version will be at par, if not better.

War Thunder is a combat flight simulator that is coming to the PS4 in late 2014 as a massive free-to-play multiplayer game. The game possesses a long list of planes and battlefields. Instead of choosing a particular plane, players can choose entire countries to represent, and in the process gradually accumulate planes for that particular country.
This is one for the fans of sim games. Seems to be worth a try.

Expected around late 2013/early 2014 on the PS4, Blacklight Retribution is a free-to-play multiplayer first person shooter. Having a science fiction setting, the game has all the standard features of a multiplayer but with some unique interesting touches; there is a HRV- High Reality Visor that gives players momentary abilities like seeing weaknesses in walls and spotting mines. The game also contains a deep customization mode for weapons.
Overall the game looks good and interesting. One free-to-play to try out on the PS4.

Don’t Starve is on the list of free PS Plus offerings on the PS4. Developed by Klei Entertainment, the game is all about survival in an alien world. Players are awarded points judging by the time frame they survive. To ensure a better chance of survival players are needed to gather resources, build fires and so on while defending themselves against starvation, insanity and even their own insanity.
With primary focus on engaging and competitive gameplay the game promises to be an interesting one.
