Sony PlayStation division records huge sales increment and profit

Thanks to the grand launch of PlayStation 4, Sony’s PlayStation business has boosted a 64 percent increment in sales in the third quarter resulting in $4.2 billion of business.

The company has registered a profit of around 300 percent with $172 million compared to the same time frame last year.

Sony already has made history with 2.1 million PS4 units sold just after a month of release and the number growing to 4.2 million by the beginning of 2014.
